The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako is seeking an applicant to fill the position of full-time Site Attendant 1 at the Burns Lake Transfer Station &amp Recycling Depot. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about environmental stewardship and is looking to work in a team environment, has a positive attitude and possesses excellent customer service skills. The starting wage for the position is $22.68 and includes a comprehensive benefits package. The primary responsibility of the Site Attendant 1 is to operate the Transfer Station or Recycling Depot which includes greeting the public, managing waste with the focus on diversion and light equipment operation. The successful applicant must also have the ability to work independently when required and be willing to promote awareness of recycling programs and re-use areas.
