The Nature Centre in Houston is in need of a program assistant to help develop the&nbspsummer daycamp&nbspprogram, assist&nbspwith riparian restoration, manage and maintain the nature centre facility and site, participate in public events like the Goodbye Fry and Bioblitzes. Nature Centre Spring Assistant Length of position: 9 weeks (with the possibility of an extension for the right candidate and pending funding) Start date: May 24th or whenever the right candidate is found. Wages: $16.20/hour Work week: 35 hrs/week (flexible) from Tues - Sat. Qualifications - The candidate must: - be good with people. - have good communication skills. - have an interest in natural history and watershed management. - be able to work independently and in a team. - be a Canadian Citizen. - be between 15-30 years of age. - be willing to work flexible hours Tuesdays to&nbspSaturdays.
