The Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako is looking for an Emergency Program Coordinator to play a key role in the team-oriented work environment of the Protective Services Department. Reporting to the Director of Protective Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of activities in support of the RDBN Emergency Preparedness Program. The position is responsible to ensure that planning, training, and exercises are developed and implemented in accordance with Provincial legislation and the direction and policy provided by the RDBN Board.&nbsp The preferred candidate will possess an Emergency Management Certificate, or related education, or experience. The candidate should have a basic understanding of the legislation related to the BC Emergency Program Act. The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, and the public.
