Milieu is hiring Awake Night Workers for Full Time, Part Time, and Casual positions in our adult and youth programs in Prince George. Support individuals with a developmental disability with cleaning, cooking, self-care (personal hygiene and showering). Applicants should have skills in problem solving, crisis intervention, and written and verbal communication, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma A minimum of 6 months experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or physical/medical/behavioral support needs or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Negative TB test Clearance Food Safe Certification Provincial Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector and if applicable, MCFD background screening (Working with Youth) Clear Health Certificate Valid First Aid and CPR certification Mandt Certification (Available training upon successful application) To qualify for this position you must have a previously completed government criminal record check. Those without a completed Criminal Record Check will not be eligible for employment. This is a unionized position with the BCGEU grid 6.Wage range of $17.27 to $20.11.
