School District No. 54(BULKLEY VALLEY) Serving Smithers, Telkwa and Houston schools is hiring CASUAL BUS DRIVERS This is position is ideal for retirees, self-employed people with flexible schedules, or stay-at-home parents. In many cases you may even be able to bring your toddler along with you (ask about child ride along). A Class I or II driver&rsquos license and physically capable to perform the job duties is required. Training is possible if applicants are in possession of a Class II learner&rsquos license. As a School Bus Driver you will work a split shift, driving approximately 2 hrs in the morning and 2 hrs in the afternoon. You will be assigned a route that falls between the hours of 6:30am-9:30am and between 3:00pm-5:00pm. Drivers work during the school year and are off in the summer and during school holidays. Although this is for casual, part-time work, there is also the opportunity to apply for regular positions as they become available.
