The successful candidate will be a key member of our Senior Leadership Team and shape the future of the department through implementation of the Community's Health Plan. The ideal candidate is motivated, a self-starter, strong planner, community minded, team oriented ready to step up and provide excellence in service to our community. You are an experienced senior level manager with knowledge and experience in primary care models of health, accreditation, service delivery, budgeting, management of staff and services, and the ability to be a strong mentor and coach. In accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic directions of the Nation and the directive of Community Health Services (CHS), patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at CHS, and as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position. Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of a graduate degree in a related field (eg; health care administration, health care leadership, public health, social services etc.). A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership in primary health care and/or working with a similar context relatable to the Community Health Services such as Social Services or Public Health. Significant understanding and experience working with First Nation's communities and organizations.
