Join our TEAMPART-TIME LIFEGUARD/INSTRUCTOR The Bulkley Valley Regional Pool &amp Recreation Centre is a community recreation centre like no other! Built and operated by the not-for-profit Bulkley Valley Aquatic Centre Management Society the recreation centre features a 4-lane 25m main pool, leisure lagoon, tot pool, 25 person hot tub, sauna, fitness studio, indoor rock climbing wall and squash/racquetball courts We're looking for responsible, hard working and enthusiastic individuals with a passion for aquatics and recreation to come join the permanent staff team! This position offers regular working hours and shifts will have a potential to include early mornings, late night, weekend shifts. Part-time position works, a minimum of 25 hours per week and must meet the position availability requirements. Following a successful 3-month probation period, employees are eligible to receive a subsidized comprehensive benefits package including sick time, medical and dental coverage. Principle responsibilities include: working to ensure the safety and enjoyment of those engaged in activities at the facility, delivery of recreation services, and programs, and performing lifeguarding, instructional, and janitorial tasks related to the operation of the facility. This position also includes the responsibility of opening and closing the building.
