Works collaboratively and harmoniously with GSS staff towards department goals and adheres to GSS procedures and standards * Participates in implementing strategies to ensure a balanced budget * Monitors quality of Environmental Services to meet GSS standards/processes, reports deficiencies to Manger/designate and completes all necessary documentation * Maintains and operates all equipment in a safe and responsible manner * Reports supply and equipment concerns to direct supervisor * Records and searches for lost laundry items * Participates in assessing and monitoring the quality and control for contract services * Participates in the recycling of materials * Participates in ordering and maintaining inventory distribution * Demonstrates dependability by reporting to work on time and as scheduled * Maintains a high standard of cleanliness, keeping the work environment consistently tidy * Adheres to all infection control practices and procedures * Pursues continual learning by participating in educational opportunities, in-services and/or training programs * Ensures an environment and resources which nurture spirituality * Maintains confidentiality on issues related to residents, employee matters and GSS information * Commits to supporting the Mission, Vision and Values of GSSOur Mission The mission of The Good Samaritan Society is to extend Christian Hospitality through a continuum of care to those in need or at risk, regardless of race or religious belief.
